Lanee Hood-Hazelgrove (b. 1989 San Diego, CA) is a self-taught painter living and working in Paris, France. She had her first solo exhibition in Chelsea, NY in October 2021 after being awarded the City Artists' Corps grant through the New York Foundation for the Arts.

Her most recent work explores domestic spaces as living environments. This has two meanings. First, the home as a quiet conflict between the natural and the manmade. Second, the home as a collection of objects embedded with the identity of their owner; taken together, these objects form the outlines of a life and come to life themselves.
